NOIR`S JOURNEY:
From Illustration to 3D Sculpture
I am Noir, a Portuguese visual artist born in the 1980s. My passion for art began early, driven by a fascination with illustration and the expressive power of drawing. In 1997, while studying arts at the Liceu de S. João do Estoril, I discovered hip-hop culture and graffiti, a pivotal moment that expanded my creative horizons. For about a decade, I dedicated myself to graffiti and music, exploring new materials, ideas, and concepts.
Over time, I directed my talent toward the audiovisual field, becoming a trained video editor and colorist. My interest in visual effects led me to 3D modeling and sculpture, a natural evolution considering my background in painting and drawing. Today, I work on portrait paintings, abstract pieces, and unique sculptures in resin or PLA, gaining recognition from collectors across Europe, the UK, and the United States.
